What does Remy (Remi) mean?
Remy (or Remi) hair extensions are considered to be the best hair extensions available due to the quality of the hair as well as the craftsmanship. The key element being that the cuticles are kept intact and not stripped. Preserving the hairs cuticles and aligning them in a unidirectional fashion creates extensions that are completely natural in appearance and texture. This process ensures that the hair remains super soft, shiny, silky and completely tangle-free throughout its lifetime.
All the hair is 100% real human hair.

What is Virgin Remy hair?
Virgin Remy hair refers to hair that has been completely unprocessed. For extensions to qualify as virgin hair, it must meet rigorous standards including:
not been permed, dyed, coloured, bleached and/or chemically processed in any way! It also means it comes from a single donor, and all the cuticles are completely intact, running in the same direction. It also means that the hair has not been blow-dried, or exposed to harsh agents such as cigarette smoke and drugs. This hair is extremely expensive, if it isn't expensive then question the supplier.

How do I wash your Clipinhair Extensions
Tip: Airing out your extensions is often all you need to keep them clean. You can use a little silicone to keep them smelling fresh and feeling soft :)
Can I dye them?
You can dye your extensions, but bleaching them is not recommended. It is definitely preferable to not alter the colour AT ALL as this will prolong the life of them. Each time you colour your own hair your hair damages, just like your extensions, the main difference being that your extensions don't have the natural oils to keep them healthy. Choosing the correct colour from the start is important allowing you to not have to dye them in the first place. However, if you would like to change the colour of your extensions we recommend taking them to your hair dresser to ensure you achieve the correct colour. Do a strand test first. Even though you can dye your hair extensions, you should first test to see how they will handle the colouring process based on the products you or your hairdresser is using. WARNING: Some dyes have been known to cause extensive damage to extensions. To avoid this, apply the dye to one small strand or section of the hair as a test. Take note of the end result before continuing to dye the rest of your hair.
Lightening them is not recommended.
Should I choose the wavy set or the straight set?
Both these options have their perks, but if this is your first set of Clipinhair Extensions and your hair is naturally straight, or you straighten it most mornings, then we recommend going for the straight set. For those with naturally wavy hair, our wavy extensions are perfect for you. You won’t need much styling, just clip in and go! You are able to curl the straight ones and straightening the wavy ones, should you wish. If you have already purchased a straight set you can always purchase a wavy set for days when you feel like a quick and easy change.
For additional help choosing the right product, send us a few photos of your hair in different lighting conditions and we will help in any way we can. Take your own hair extensions before and after photos and see what a difference these products can make.
